With the set times having recently been released for Meredith Music Festival, we’ve been sharing stories of our love and obsession for Australia’s summer of music festivities. Thinking we were getting a little overboard with adoration for Aussie music festivals, we were brought back down to earth upon discovering a couple who actually threw an American music festival themed wedding.

We kid you not, meet Andrew and Keri, two starry-eyed lovers who met one fateful day at Bonnaroo music festival, fell madly in love and just this year threw a completely Bonnaroo themed wedding, as Consequence Of Sound point out (via Festival Snob/Reddit).

The sweet little story of matrimony begun at the ‘Roo 2011, an epic 10-year celebration of the festival that featured the likes of Arcade Fire, Eminem, The Black Keys and Buffalo Springfield, where the pair met out of “pure chance.” The following year at Bonnaroo 2012, Andrew proposed to Keri as they stood atop an RV, and from there, the planning of the ultimate Bonnaroo themed wedding begun.

The groom detailed the couples epic ceremony on Festival Snob and Reddit, which includes seriously anything and everything one could think of from Bonnaroo, save the world’s biggest rockstars. From food trucks to wristbands, tables named after the famous stages and of course tents to crash in, the pair take what sounds a kind of tacky idea and turned it into something unreal.

Join us as we take a look at this crazy festival-turn-wedding story through the eyes of Andrew, maybe we’ll see a ‘Sup 14 inspired story in one years time?

“Friends holding the proposal banner I made for Roo ’12. I had taken her to the roof of our RV with the ring hidden in my shorts under the guise of taking some photo’s of our surroundings.”

“So, having met at Roo, gotten engaged at Roo, we decided to have a Roo-themed wedding. We did the invite in the style of a concert poster and mailed them in tiny poster tubes. My wife designed all the graphics, fonts, and just about everything else.”

“It took us four months but we finally found the perfect setting to recreate the feel of the farm.”

“We re-used the proposal banner as a walkway”

“Our Bonnaroo/Wedding booklet complete with the Bonnaroovian Code”

“What’s a festival themed wedding without festival bracelets?”

“Instead of table numbers we used the stage names for each table”

“Complete with our DJ at the Which Stage.”

“Rather then a guestbook we had attendee’s fill out our own ‘Before I Die’ wall.”

“Late Night Food Truck Oasis”

“Best Day of my Life. As a wedding gift, our friends got us a Bonnaroo Tree, so come find us at ‘Keri & Andrew’s Wedding Tree’ at Bonnaroo 2015!”
