Brisbane’s favourite progressive alternative powerhouse, Caligula’s Horse, have announced a new string of national tour dates, which will see them hitting up venues in their hometown, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide this January.
Having recently embarked on a successful national tour with Perth brothers-in-arms Voyager, as well as supporting Canadian favourites Protest The Hero, and a stellar showcase during this year’s BIGSOUND music conference in Queensland, Caligula’s Horse are on a roll.
This tour will see the group promoting their brand new video for ‘A Gift To Afterthought’, the epic opening track from their critically acclaimed sophomore effort, The Tide, The Thief & River’s End, as well as airing plenty of fan favourites and some new and never-before-performed material.
Caligula’s Horse will be kicking off their tour with a huge hometown show at Brisbane’s The Zoo, before heading to Sydney’s Factory Floor on the 23rd, Canberra’s The Basement on the 24th, Melbourne’s The Evelyn for an Australia Day Eve extravaganza, Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on the 30th, before finishing at Adelaide’s Enigma Bar on the 31st.
Joining them will be some of Australia’s premier progressive acts, including Sydney mainstays Breaking Orbit, Melbourne’s own Alithia, and the avant-garde Orsome Welles, who will be launching their debut EP, Erth News Bulletin, plus special local guests.
