As part of our bid to help the Australian live music scene in any way we can, we’ve compiled a list of times when gigs — some major and epic, some intimate and local — were held in some unconventional spaces.

There’s plenty of inspiration here, with gigs having been held everywhere from caves and abandoned hospitals, to former prisons and people’s apartments.
