One of Australia’s favourite singer songwriters Josh Pyke had just embarked on the third leg of his national Lone Wolf tour.

So far the Lone Wolf tour has been a year-long pilgrimage for Pyke, selling out capital city theatres in February and March, followed by an extension on demand to another 12 towns and regional centres mid-way through the year.

Josh took the time out from his-non-stop schedule to take us backstage on this epic tour.

As Josh explains “after a week off at home after a fantastic but pretty gruelling UK tour, it was time to wrap up the touring for my most recent album with the Last of the Lone Wolf Tour.

I’ve really tried to focus on getting out to as many regional areas as possible during the last year, and these final shows were going to take in regional Vic and some regional NSW shows, before it’s time to bunker down and get into album number five.

I Jumped on the plane down to Melbourne, and then drove the hour and a bit to Castlemaine through some beautiful countryside dotted with elaborate gold rush era mansions amongst the more humble abodes.”

Catch him as he plays the final tour show:
