Today makes the release of Lanie Lane’s stunning new video ‘No Sound’.

The second single taken from Lane’s stunning album Night Shade (out now via Ivy League) ‘No Sound’ was one of the first tracks she penned for her new record. As Lane explains, the song was written over two years ago.

“It was co-written with guitarist Aidan Roberts. I was just beginning to learn meditation and observation of thoughts and feelings in an objective way for the first time in my life. It was a taking back of my own power and trusting my own instincts. We wrote this song on my parent’s living room floor. It all came together pretty quickly and we immediately started playing it live as we were on tour with Brian Setzer at the time. It felt really different to all the old songs. Now it seems so much closer to the old stuff than any of the newer songs.”

Finally the video accompaniment is ready for release. Shot by Tyron Robinson, one of Lanie’s good friends, it was his his first video and was shot in Melbourne. Simple but enthralling it’s a stunning video for an equally stunning single.
