Have you ever wanted to attend Burning Man, the world’s most insane festival of music, arts, freedom and fire, but never had cash (or balls) to go? Well, thanks to this incredibly shot video of this year’s mammoth event, you can from the comfort your chair.

Courtesy of the guys at Be The Rave, Dutch producer Sander van Doorns who performed at the festival this year, has encapsulated the free-spirited beauty of the unique experience, piecing together in high definition snippets of out-of-this-world festival.

Watch as the happiest people on earth ride bicycles across the desert plains in crazy post-apocalyptic outfits, explore the mind-boggling of art installations and bare witness to the ultimate pinnacle of the week, the great Burning Man fire. We don’t want to give too much more away, but one thing is for certain, once you have watched this clip, you’ll be booking flights to the US for September next year.

Burning Man traces its roots back to 1986, and has been held annually since, seeing “tens of thousands of people gather in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert to create Black Rock City, a temporary metropolis dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance.” It’s a celebration of all things creative, with guerrilla pop-up art exhibitions and live music spread throughout the desert, with the massive group of nomads coming together for the giant burn-off of the wooden man. This year’s event saw nearly 66,000 create the once-a-year city, with the burning man standing a staggering 32-metres (105 feet) from the ground.

As one can imagine, Burning Man is not for the faint-hearted, it’s dusty, it’s hot and it’s cold, you’re a long way from home and there’s plenty of nudity. However, if you think you’ve got what it takes to brave the Nevada desert with tens of thousands of avid artists, jump over to Burning Man’s website, they’ve already got plenty of information for 2015’s event. It’s guaranteed to be life-changing.
