If there’s one track that defines the sound of ’90s dance culture, it has to be ‘Sandstorm’ by Finnish producer, Darude, and at Stereosonic over the weekend, the timeless banger shook Sydney’s showgrounds at the hands of Australia’s favourite party boys, Peking Duk.

Taking to the mainstage of Sydney’s Steresonic on Saturday, fan-filmed footage sees the massive crowd eating out of the boys’ hands, as they first force everyone to sit, before unleashing the one and only ‘Sandstorm’, causing thousands of punters to rise onto their feet, losing their minds to the track.

This is just another notch in what has been a cataclysmic year for Peking Duk. Earlier this year they released ‘High‘ unquestionably one of the biggest tracks of 2014, follow-up by the transporting ‘Take Me Over‘, as well as their smashing cover of Kylie Minogue’s ‘Can’t Get You Out My Head‘ on Triple J’s Like A Version. That’s to mention that they were on just about every list for the “best set” at Splendour In The Grass festival 2014, the guys are bound for international superstardom.

It’s not too late to catch Peking Duk at Stereosonic Festival, otherwise there’s Field Day as well as the very first Beyond The Valley of Phillip Island over New Years.
