US-based tech worker Chuck Jose has shown us once again why it’s never a good idea to make any kind of bet with a close friend, especially when the stakes concern something as important as sport. After losing a fantasy football bet, Jose writes, he was forced to recreate, shot for shot, Sia’s ‘Chandelier’ video.
“Never lose a fantasy football bet or else you will create a shot for shot, homemade version of the music video for Sia’s ‘Chandelier’,” Jose wrote in the description for the clip, which was uploaded to YouTube earlier this week and has since accrued almost 600,000 hits at the time of publication.

Jose, who works for gaming giants PlayStation at their San Francisco headquarters, and his painstaking ‘Chandelier’ recreation, which sees him recreating every move in the iconic routine first made famous by dancer Maddie Ziegler, recall Carlton Draught’s popular 2006 Flashdance ad.
And while Jose may not have the poise, grace, and dexterity of Ziegler in the original clip, he certainly puts in an admirable effort. In fact, though Jose may have lost the bet and been forced to don the nude bodysuit and platinum blonde wig, we concur with E! Online in saying that Jose definitely won the internet.
