Every week a plethora of big name acts, Australian musicians and little-known musos drop brand spankin’ new tracks on the internet. We’ve trawled through the internet to find some of our favourites and plucked them from the masses. Grab your headphones and enjoy.

Future Brown  – ‘Talking Bandz’

Future Brown is the collaborative effort of four incredibly individually talented producers: Fatima Al Qadiri, Nguzunguzu’s Asma Maroof and Daniel Pineda, and Lit City Trax’s J-Cush. Together they produce forward thinking futuristic R&B.

They’ve just dropped ‘Talkin’ Bandz’ and with it announced their self-titled debut album which is set for release February 24th via Warp Records. (LD)

Empire Of The Sun – ‘Wandering Star’

Falls Festival saviours and Australia’s most popular current dance duo have shared a new track, but it’s not the NYE-ready banger that you might think it is.

‘Wandering Star’ is still the polished synth pop that we’ve come to expect from Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore though, with ‘Wandering Star’ being a mellow yet infectious three minutes of music. (CT)

Gunslinger – ‘Paradox’

Melbourne garage rockers Gunslingers have released their brand new single ‘Paradox’, the latest single off the band’s upcoming debut LP. Following the release of two killer EPs (Radiation In The Sky, and My First Trip To Mexico), extensive touring national radio airplay and a swelling fan base, it’s time for the guys to drop the LP DJANGUS.

THEESatisfaction – ‘Recognition’

Following on for this incredible debut, the duo comprised of Stasia “Stas” Irons and Catherine “Cat” Harris-White, have emerged with their hypnotic single ‘Recognition’ and the announcement of their second LP titled EarthEE set for release early next year. (LD)

Moana – ‘Echo’

‘Echo’ sees the WA songstress step away from her grungier efforts, moving toward a more chilling gothic aesthetic, Moana creating a sonic nightmarish atmosphere of haunting layered guitars and a flurry of post-punk strings, while a subtle yet steady percussion beat backs the tune. (JH)

Danny Brown + Action Bronson – ‘Bad News’

It’s almost strange this collab hasn’t happened yet! Danny Brown (who’s in town next month) and Action Bronson have teamed up for the menacingly playful ‘Bad News’. Produced by The Alchemist ‘Bad News’ features on the GTAV, and we’re feeling it.

Milwaukee Banks – ‘Van Gogh’

This year has been huge for the futuristic hip hop duo alongside releasing their debut EP, Rose Water and a remix EP they’ve played plenty of shows across the country. As if that wasn’t enough, they’ve now dropped a double a-side which features Rat & Co. collab ‘Monitor’ and the more down tempo ‘Van Gogh’ produced by Andre Eremin (Oscar Key Sung, Chet Faker, Banoffee). Yumi Zouma – ‘Alena’

This year Yumi Zouma have taken their once-withdrawn project to sold-out theaters across Australia supporting Chet Faker, to club shows in North America and to festivals throughout Europe. The band was recently tapped by Lorde to open for the star on her arena tours of New Zealand and North America. Now they’ve released their latest single, ‘Alena’, tapped from their forthcoming EP due February 2015. (LD)
