Never ones to do things in halves, Aussie rock and roll legends You Am I recently did what they do best and hit the stages, giving fans what they’ve wanted for years – a concert tour based on their seminal early albums, Hi Fi Way and Hourly Daily.
But the band decided to do fans one better and gave them both albums back to back. Leaving the orchestral interpretations and opera house spectaculars for lesser bands, You Am I took these two classic albums, shook ’em loose, and played them with the intensity and passion they deserve.
Live Electrified is their document of one night rocking Sydney’s famous Enmore Theatre in July 2013, with a full house sign on the door and two and half thousand people packed inside. Over the course of two hours, You Am I delivered one of their most talked-about rock spectacles.
