The year 2014 has been all about Canberra party-starters, Peking Duk.

The duo are currently smashing Stereosonic to pieces, which is perfectly exemplified in the epic moment where they drop one of the biggest bangers of the ’90s, and in case you hadn’t been along to the insane dance festival tearing through the nation, you probably don’t know about Australia’s favourite TV personality giving the boys the ultimate stage introductions.

Yep, Karl Stefanovic, the loveable clown of Channel Nine’s breakfast show Today shot a video for the Duk that is played before they step onto the stage at Stereosonic, the notorious goof giving the ‘High‘ producers the most hilarious, and downright Aussie-mate of intros, telling eager punters “I love nothing more than getting absolutely Peking Duk’d at a music festival” continuing, “but alas, I can’t get Peking Duk’d this year because of bloody work” before calling Peking Duk to the stage to an eruption of applause.

Stefanovic is not the only one who has an unhealthy obsession with the Duk, with the duo having sold-out shows across Australia, not to mention having been heralded one of the best sets at this years Splendour At The Grass Festival. Couple this with their incendiary Like A Version cover on Triple J as well as their transporting new clip for ‘Take Me Over‘, it’s fair to say that the Duk’s breakthrough in 2014 has been almost unparalleled by any other Aussie artist.

Check out the live footage of Stefanovic’s side-splitting introduction of Peking Duk below. If only it wasn’t for “bloody work” we could see the great man doof to the Duk, after all, we’ve already seen him out-twerk Miley Cyrus.
