It’s been an absolute ripper Aussie musicians in 2014, and despite there being only mere weeks left in the year, the gravy train of success just keeps on steamin’, the victors this time four local bands who have just landed themselves on of the raddest lineups on the US music festival circuit.

Step-Panther, a Sydney three-piece who produce a breezy blend of jangle-pop and scuzzy low-fi tunes, Melbourne’s adored chill-popsters Twerps, cruisy indie rockers Big White and now Brooklyn-natives brat-punks Wax Witches have all scored a position on none other than the ultra Californian-cool Burger Records Festival of 2015, Burgerama Four, which will see the bands perform alongside some of the biggest names in alternative rock right now.

Loaded with an epic lineup including the Aussie bound Ty Segall, Ariel Pink and J Mascis, not to mention Weezer, Black Lips, Gang of Four, Roky Erickson and FIDLAR, the killer event will take place over 28 – 29th March in Santa Ana of California and promises to be one of the hugest extravaganzas of garage, low-fi and indie rock.

Step-Panther dropped their incredible sophomore record a couple of months ago which we heralded as an album you need to hear. The guys are particularly stoked on this crazy news, taking to their official Facebook to publicly announce their excitement:
Post by Step-Panther.

For fellow Sydney-siders Big White, this too is a dream come true, the guys writing that their “heads are in the clouds” as they gear up to release what promises to be a killer record in the new year.

It’s another win for Twerps, who recently took us through their vinyl collection, as well as detailing their year of fastidious studio work, releasing at Tone Deaf favourite EP of 2014 Underlaynot to mention dropping a recent single and album teaser for their forthcoming sophomore record Range Anxietywhich is set for release in January of next year.

This is a huge opportunity for all four bands who are affiliated with Burger Records and we are super stoked that international audiences will bare witness to their charming live performances.

If you’d love to support our talented local musicians at Burger Fest Four in 2015, tickets are on sale on Friday 12th December and be found here.
