Starkly darker than her other videos, ‘Spit Three Times’ is an intimate peak into the pain, loss and sadness Neneh Cherry went through after the loss of her mother. Directed by Bafic, the film encapsulates Cherry’s personal battle and fighting spirit juxtaposed against the beauty of infinite roses and never-ending winding roads.
