Since returning to its rightful place in the Victorian music scene back in May of this year, Melbourne’s beloved Gasometer has been going from strength to strength, hosting performances from the likes of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Adalita, and more.

Now, The Gas team have announced a new summer concert series titled Collingwood Open, which will see a raft of huge Aussie acts playing intimate shows in The Gas’ unique, open-air space. Kicking off next month, Collingwood Open will see performances from Lanie Lane, Gareth Liddiard, The Harpoons, Twin Beasts, and more.

With headliners set to take the stage at dusk, punters will have the chance to spend a perfect summer evening enjoying some of their favourite Aussie headliners up close and personal in a unique setting, with an open summer sky as the ceiling – sounds pretty good to us.

Tickets for the current lineup are set to go on sale via Oztix from Monday, 15th December. These shows are expected to sell out so make sure you act fast. Management are also promising further Collingwood Open show announcements in January 2015.
