Brisbane’s favourite indie-soul songstress, the fiery Bec Laughton, is saying ‘Au revoir!’ to Australia, having answered the call that’s been ringing out overseas since she won the Lord Mayor’s Young and Emerging Artists Fellowship and worked in NYC with Grammy Award-winning Michael League of Snarky Puppy.

With doors opening left, right, and centre for the Aussie mainstay, Bec has announced a new string of tour dates so that she can say bye to her fans, kicking off this January at Hugs & Kisses in Melbourne, taking in Brisbane, Bunbury, Maragaret River, and Perth, before finishing up in Sydney.

Bec’s reputation as a dynamic live act has rapidly grown over the last 12 months, with many praising her appearance at the Stateside South By Southwest conference and performances alongside the most incredible lineup of soul artists Australia has ever seen at Soulfest, which featured D’Angelo, Maxwell, and more.

Readers can check below to find out where they can check out the young chanteuse before she disappears from Australian shores to take up offers from producers in New York and Los Angeles, including Timbaland’s production company, as she writes and records her debut full-length album.
