Aussie space-rock trippers Pond are gearing up for the release of their sixth record Man It Feels Like Space Again which will hit shelves late January of next year, and to get fans in a flurry, they’ve dropped a video for the second single ‘Sitting Up On Our Crane.’

The sun-dripped track sees Jay Watson take the reigns on lead vocals, the song oozes in a more DIY low-fi meets dreamy waves of psychedelica, Waston’s soothing vocals melting perfectly into the calming sonics.

Watson details the catalyst of the new tune, “We’d sit at the top and I’d always be afraid that we were gonna fall off, kill ourselves. That’s what that song’s about. Kind of an anxiety power ballad.”

The video itself has been directed by Alejandro Miguel Justino Crawford, who perfectly captures the carefree yet whacky humorous spirit of the Pond fellas, with a computerised person falling through a world of technicolour.

‘Sitting Up On Our Crane’ is the second release from the band that proceeds the stompin’ and chantin’ ‘Elvis Flaming Star‘. The brand-spanking new record is set for release on January 23 of 2015, and in the meantime, you can download this brand new track from www.pondband.net.
