The organisers of Mountain Sounds Festival 2015 have made further additions to their increasingly stellar lineup, today announcing the likes of Alison Wonderland, who’ll be helming the 2015 roster, as well as DZ Deathrays, Kilter, The Griswolds, and Pepa Knight.
Having already sold out of early bird tickets after announcing The Kite String Tangle, SAFIA, D.D Dumbo, The Jungle Giants, and Tkay Maidza, Mountain Sounds 2015 is fast shaping up to be the hottest ticket of the summer, and there’s still a final, very special guest to be announced in January.
In addition to Wonderland, who’ll be hot on the momentum of one of the biggest years of her career, organisers have also added stripped-back folksters Winterbourne, Brisbane dance duo Odd Mob, indie rockers Little Earthquake, and hard-hitting innovative producer Acaddamy.
But Mountain Sounds still has more up its sleeve, announcing the addition of a brand new stage in 2015. The Jungle Stage (Presented by Jungle Studios) will include PH Fat, Nova & the Experience, Dr Kong & the Stem Cells, AViVAA, Owen Rabbit, Colour Cage, White Walkers, Rookie, Via Alchemy, and East of Here.
Held in the scenic surrounds of Mount Penang Parklands in Kariong on the Central Coast of NSW, Mountain Sounds is conveniently situated halfway between Sydney and Newcastle, making for the perfect environment to surround punters in good friends, a sublime atmosphere, and lots of great Australian music.
