Australian late-night weekend staple Rage have revealed their top 50 videos of the past 12 months. Coming as a surprise to very few, Sia’s clip for ‘Chandelier’, which has garnered over 411 million views on YouTube and was one of the most talked-about videos of the year, has taken the top spot.

Meanwhile, Chet Faker’s popular ‘Gold’ clip just missed out, taking the number two spot, with his ‘1998’ and ‘Talk Is Cheap’ videos also making it into the top 25. The bronze went to Queens of the Stone Age for their ‘Smooth Sailing’ video, with the top five rounded out by Slipknot’s ‘The Devil In I’ and Taylor Swift ‘Shake It Off’.

Last year’s publicly-voted poll was also topped by an Aussie act, with Birds Of Tokyo coming out on top for the video to their ubiquitous hit ‘Lanterns’. Meanwhile, K-pop sensation Psy took 2012 with ‘Gangnam Style’, taking over the the throne from Gotye who ruled 2011 with ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’.

Aussies pretty much dominated this year’s poll, with Chet Faker and fellow Aussies Violent Soho standing as the only two artists to have more than one clip on the list, and a raft of Aussies making the cut, including Hilltop Hoods, Nick Cave, Northlane, King Gizzard, I Killed The Prom Queen, and Flight Facilities.
