Swervedriver are the finest groups to ever be stamped with the genre label shoegaze since they crashed into the scene back in 1989.

After going on hiatus in 1999 and making their grand comeback in 2008, the guys have toured internationally, fans delighted to have the heavier-hitting dreamgaze outfit back on the scene, there was however one final question – will Swervedriver release new music?

The guys dropped one standalone track ‘Deep Wound’ last year, and have at long last released the first track ‘Setting Sun’ from their forthcoming record I Wasn’t Born To Lose You, which is set for release 3rd March this year.

‘Setting Sun’ is an interesting first track to release, the tune only clocking-in at just under the 3-minute mark, but after one full rotation, listeners will be instantly hooked.

The carefree tune sees the four-piece step away from their hardcore shoegaze aesthetic, producing a psych-pop track that is both encompassing and warming.
