Soundwave Festival promoter AJ Maddah is a man of his word. Having promised, via his hyperactive Twitter account, earlier this week that he would announce the timetables for the 2015 instalment of Australia’s favourite punk and hard rock event, Maddah has well and truly delivered.

Though in previous years draft timetables would be released a few weeks before the finalised set times in February, Maddah stated last year that timetables for 2015 would be announced close to the festival’s second lineup announcement, revealed before the new year.

The festival’s new two-day format sure has made for some big chances in the festival’s set times and staging. When the format was first announced, Maddah told fans that spreading the festival’s lineup across two days would enable organisers to “minimise clashes; give bands longer sets, [and] better staging”.

Maddah had also previously stated that headliners would receive 90-100 minute sets, “top bands” 70 minutes, “middle bands” 60 minutes, and up-and-comers 40 minutes, while Judas Priest will play a headliner-length set. Readers can check out all the set times for Soundwave 2015 below.

In addition to unveiling the much-awaited timetables, Madah announced a last-minute addition to the bill, the supergroup Terror Universal, which features current and ex members of Machine Head, Soulfly, and Ill Niño, though it’s not certain which as the band perform in masks and refuse to reveal their identities.
