Are you a vinyl nut that loves to splash cash on rare pieces of wax? Well it may interest you that a particular unique record has appeared for sale on eBay, and guess what, it ain’t that expensive either.

The cut we speak of is none other than Nirvana’s single 7” ‘Love Buzz’ which features the b-side tune ‘Big Cheese’.

A part of the original pressings, the item has been hand numbered as 541/1000 copy of records sold, and surprisingly, the highest bid at the moment is only sitting at US $1,332.71, which is a bargain compared to the current US $4,500.00 pricetag on discogs.com. What’s even more stirring is this price is nothing compared to how much Mac DeMarco sold one of his stinky old shoes for recently.

eBay seller “theduchessforpresident” has assured that the record is excellent condition, writing, VINYL is EX. No blemishes, or scratches, and still glossy. Sleeve is also EX. Handnumbered 541/1000 on the back in red marker, like the others in the pressing.

Released on November 1, 1988, this is one of the legendary grunge band’s first singles and interestingly, a cover of Dutch band Shocking Blue that was originally released way back in 1969.

If you want to join-in on what will surely be a mad bid-off for this very unique and rare piece of musical history, click here for the eBay link. There’s just under three hours to go, so get your credit card ready for a workout.

For a bit of nostalgia, here’s that unbelievable live footage of ‘Love Buzz’ at Reading Festival circa 1992. Enjoy.
