One of Melbourne’s favourite musical days out, Rock The Bay, is set for its triumphant this year and boy do they have a mega lineup to get excited about.
Taking place at St Kilda’s iconic shoreline venue, The Espy, on Saturday 21st March, the hard-hitting event will see 40 bands spread over four stages, coming together for one hell of a day in live music.
Rock The Bay are super proud and are dangerously close to exploding in exuberance at the announcement of their two artists Rook and Hinge, both bands reforming for one-off sets especially for the day-fest at the front bar.
In addition to this, Rock The Bay will see the likes of Bushido and Chaos Divine give it their all at the Front Bar, whilst the Gershwin stage will guest Palace Of The King, Don Fernando and Fuck The Fitzroy Doom Scene, meanwhile Tequila Mockingbird, Shortfall and Aerials will blow minds in the Mezzanine as Transience, The Firing Line and Tell Amarosa tear apart the Basement stage, just to name a few highlights.
Rock The Bay has grown to become one of Melbourne’s staple sonic extravaganzas, celebrating everything that is guitar-driven rock. The event provides a stage for not only established artists, but up-and-coming bands too, providing a unique opportunity for local talent to show what they’ve got.
