The holiday period is well and truly over and we’ve all settled back into the doldrums of our 9-5s. Never fear, though, because Splendour In The Grass has finally reentered our lives to shake us out of our stupor. Yes, the dates and venue for Splendour In The Grass 2015 have finally been announced.
Organisers have now confirmed that Splendour In The Grass will once again return to the beautiful North Byron Parklands, its home since Splendour 2013, when years of lobbying on the part of organisers finally paid off to bless the festival and its patrons with wonderfully scenic new surrounds.
Meanwhile, the whole shebang is set to kick off on Friday, 24th July, going into Saturday 25th, and finishing up on Sunday 26th July. Organisers have advised that onsite camping will once again be available from Wednesday, 22nd July, so the stage is now set to have a repeat of Splendour 2014 – widely cited as one of the best events yet.
Now the wait begins for that all-important lineup, which organisers write will be available “in due course”. In the meantime, snap-happy 2014 punters may want to go back into the archive to recover their photos from last year’s Splendour.
Organisers have declared this week #ThrowbackSplendour14 and Instagram users who hurry up and follow @splendourinthegrass and post their favourite pic from Splendour In The Grass 2014 by Tuesday, 27th January (make sure you tag it #ThrowbackSplendour14) could win a double pass to Splendour 2015.
