With St Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2015 just over a week away, organisers have finally dropped those all-important timetables and maps, which punters are likely printing out and drowning in highlighter ink as we speak. This year’s festival will see Flight Facilities, St Vincent, Flying Lotus, and John Hopkins filling the headline slots, with Caribou, Banks, and FKA Twigs set to close out the annual musical event in select cities, which this year features the likes of Mac DeMarco, Royal Blood, Future Islands, Little Dragon, and more.
The lineup experienced a bit of a hiccup earlier this month when international songstress Lykke Li announced that she would cancel all of her Laneway appearances to take a much-needed break from touring. Organisers quickly announced that up and coming hip-hopper Tkay Maidza would fill Li’s slot, a change which many punters applauded.
