The ever-innovative producer Mark Ronson, hot off the release of his universally acclaimed record Uptown Special has announced that he will hit Australian shores this year for a DJ set, but guess what, he’s only performing in one city.

The extremely lucky folk of Sydney will have the opportunity to catch the production wizard on Wednesday 4th February at the ultra hip venue the Oxford Art Factory, meaning that punters may be some of the first to catch Ronson spin the groovy Kevin Parker collaboration of ‘Daffodils‘, not to mention the #6 polled track in Triple J’s Hottest 100 of 2014, ‘Uptown Funk’.

A globally celebrated, Grammy award winning super producer, musician and DJ, Ronson has been behind a string of hits by the likes of Lily Allen, Kaiser Chiefs, Adele, Paul McCartney and Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’ and iconic single ‘Rehab’ to name just a small few.

Alongside this stellar run of work producing for other artists, Ronson has gained a legendary reputation as a DJ with an encyclopedic, genre-spanning knowledge of music that he uses to killer effect.

This is a very special opportunity to experience one of the world’s most acclaimed DJ’s do his thing in an intimate venue, if you’re in the area you’d have to be insane to miss such an extraordinary experience, and if you’re from out of town, fake a sickie, hit the road or board a plane to the Harbour city and prepare to dance your ass off.
