Few artists have been as talked-about over the past 12 months as Sia. From her decision to keep her face shielded for the duration of her latest album cycle, to the runaway success of her single ‘Chandelier’ and the accompanying music video, which famously featured 12-year-old Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler engaging in a now-iconic interpretive dance routine.

Most recently, Sia unintentionally stirred controversy with her video for ‘Elastic Heart’, another single from her highly acclaimed sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear, which featured Ziegler donning her outfit from the ‘Chandelier’ clip (a skin tone leotard and a blonde bob wig) and dancing in a cage with a near-nude Shia LaBeouf.

Though the artist explained that the clip was intended to represent her “two warring states”, the evocative dance routine between the 28-year-old Shia LaBeouf and Ziegler was deemed inappropriate and even “paedophilic” in nature by some critics, which has since inspired a funny new video parody courtesy of Funny or Die.

Titled ‘To Catch A Predator: Elastic Heart Edition’, the spoof features US television presenter Chris Hansen, best known for hosting To Catch a Predator, a show that depicts Hansen and his team luring and apprehending online sexual predators, interrupting the ‘Elastic Heart’ shoot and interrogating a shaken LaBeouf.
