Since their beginnings in 1959, The Grammys have been awarded by the NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences) to outstanding musicians within the industry from various categories every year, the golden gramophone trophy the most prestigious accolade a recording artist can receive, apparently.

With so much buzz surrounding the forthcoming event this Sunday night, we got to thinking about all the bullshit that surrounds the evening, and just how little at times the NARAS seem to know about the year in music that they are supposedly celebrating.

So much so, we decided to piece together a list of the greatest travesties of The Grammys. From iconic musicians who’ve never won an award, to genres that have been repeatedly snubbed and of course, the frustrating amount of artists that have somehow taking home the gold, join us as we venture the biggest WTFs of The Grammys.
