Overlooking the Sydney Harbour and contained within the luscious surrounds of Taronga Zoo, the Twilight at Taronga Zoo stage is playing host to some incredible talents this season. For those who want to get in early, the day before Valentine’s Day singer songwriter and local legend Sarah Blasko will be charming audiences with support from folk duo Luluc (who we’re also fans of) very scenic and very romantic you’re guaranteed a pash.

Ravel’s Daphnis and Chloe conjures an ancient tale of desire tantalisingly out of reach,while the spirit of romantic love pervades Strauss’ songs. Why? Poor old Adelaide is sometimes the forgotten city, but during Feb and March, it really becomes the belle of the ball (thanks to Adelaide Fringe Festival and The Garden Of Unearthly Delights). Rock royalty J Mascis will be performing a solo acoustic and electric set this Saturday 14th February. We recommend this show for all the singles, imagine telling everyone you met you partner a Mascis gig (much better than Tindr huh?) and if you don’t get lucky – no sweat this could be a lonely harts club anyway.

Perth Symphony Orchestra: Symphony Of Love

Why? We haven’t forgotten about our lovers out West! Perth casanovas, we recommend taking the better half to see the Perth Symphony Orchestra perfrom a ‘Symphony Of Love’ in Claremont Park. This event will commence at 7.30pm and over two leisurely hours patrons will enjoy renditions of great romantic classics. Take a picnic, or if you’re not much of a chef, (maybe you talents lay elsewhere- if you know what we’re sayin’) don’t fret, patrons can also choose to pre-order a gourmet picnic hamper or purchase authentic wood fired pizza and some delicious homemade desserts.
