Let’s be honest, party-goers in Sydney have not really had the best run over the past 12 months, the introduction of the tough lockout and alcohol laws have been rather detrimental to the once booming nightlife, however there is some exciting news for live music fans of the harbour city.

Courtesy of rising collective and label Flow-Fi and local creatives Fling Fling for FLUX, Sydney will now see a secret warehouse party pop-up over the city each month, as Inthemix reports.

The first event is tomorrow night, Saturday 7th February, the shindig kicking-off at 8pm with the party rocking until 4am. The location details are pretty ambiguous, with the guys behind FLUX stating the following: “Inner West, 200m from a station, no lockouts, bossy as fuck. The warehouse location will be released at 8am Saturday February 7 via our Facebook event.”

Eager punters will see a host of electronic-based artists perform, the inaugural night guesting the likes of AywyChiefsTDYZuri Akoko and Shantan Wantan Ichiban all having a spin behind the decks. The parties promise to pertain to the worlds of hiphop, trap and future inspired beats, and this starting lineup most certainly does not disappoint.

Sydney’s movement toward a more ’90s DIY warehouse culture has expanded since the strangling lockout laws took hold of the NSW capital, and judging by the hype and excitement surrounding these forthcoming parties, this movement could prove to be the future of a unrestricted night out in the big city.

As mentioned, tomorrow night’s party location will be revealed Saturday at 8am on the event’s Facebook, it only costs $10.00 and there’ll be a limited amount of free cider for those with a sweet tooth. Sounds pretty good to us.
