Now here’s something you don’t see every day, a world famous metal guitarist on a tacky daytime TV game show.

Nope, you didn’t read that wrong, Adam Dutkiewicz of metalcore outfit Killswitch Engage just won on The Price Is Right, and thanks to some home recording footage that surfaced online via Loudwide, we can all enjoy the lols.

Apparently Adam D had been given the almighty “come on down” from longtime host Drew Carey quite early in the show, however he didn’t actually make it onto the stage until the last prize guess, which, would you believe, he then went on to win a freaking car – hardly seems fair, right?

The gravy-train didn’t end there for the US shredder, he then made into the Showcase Section which saw him take home another set of wheels, this time in the form of a Nissan Frontier truck not to mention a holiday as well.

One would assume he probably just went on the show for a laugh, and would have had no intention of bringing home a prize pool totalled at over $50,000. Surely being in one of the most revered metal outfits of the ’90s and ’00s would bring in enough spondula, right?

Of course, social media exploded in excitement, Killswitch Engage as well as an endless list of fans egging the guitarist on as he went for the win.
