What has grown to become Australia’s favourite boutique music festival, Boogie Festival, held at the hallowed grounds of the treasured Bruzzy’s Farm has announced the lineup for 2015’s musical extravaganza, it’s a ripper.

Running for what will nine successful years, the mystical experience will be held over three nights from 3rd – 5th of April and will see a kickass list of both international and Aussie artists charm the lush greenery of Tallarook.

Hailing from the US, welcome for the first ever time on Aussie soil, the magical Strand Of Oaks. Their debut album Heal was a critics darling in 2014. Their live shows have had entire audiences embracing and planning their future lives together.

Fresh from some warm accolades from Mac DeMarco’s Mumma, garage-psych dudes The Murlocs, alongside a slew of Aussie performers including Triple J’s Album of the Week winners Dorsal Fins, our high-voltage favourites, Scotdrakula and the intriguing Pearls.

In addition to this, Darren Hanlon, Parking Lot Experiments, Mangelwurzel and The Finks And Goat Piss Gasoline have all been added to the Boogie Nine lineup, creating one amazing long weekend of live music.

Despite this fantastic news, there is but one sad note, Adelaide’s Fair Maiden will no longer be playing at Boogie this year.

These nine brand-spanking acts join the already announced headliner, the roots and folks extraordinaire Pokey LaFarge, who will have in tow his full five-piece travellin’ band, promising to coax every last punter up on their feet for one helluva hootenanny.

Flying the American flag high, Justin Townes Earle will bring his silky-suave blues tunes back to our shores. Armed with a bagful of new tracks courtesy of his stellar sixth full-length record Single Mothers, Boogie punters are in for a real treat.

Rounding out the international contingent includes veteran US singer-songwriter, Tony Joe White, who even at the age of 71-years of age, will perform classic hits like ‘Polk Salad Annie’, as well as Spanish outfit Los Chicos, who will bring their sun-soaked flavour of rock to the Farm.

Tickets to this magical event are available now so jump over to Boogie’s website and snap ’em before it’s all too late.
