Soundwave 2015 punters, get your highlighters ready. Finalised set times for this year’s instalment of Australia’s favourite punk and hard rock event have finally arrived, rectifying many of the annoying clashes present on the draft timetables and it’s all thanks to the fans who made their voices heard.

Recent weeks have also seen the addition of the winners of Soundwave’s Triple J Unearthed competition, as well as the departure of international acts Rival Sons and Evergreen Terrace. The latter has forced organisers to push back start times on some of the stages and swap a few of the set times around.

As you know, this year’s event will see the introduction of the festival’s new two-day format, with a packed lineup filled with huge names, including headliners Slipknot, Soundgarden, Faith No More, and The Smashing Pumpkins, notable up-and-comers, awesome locals, and iconic veterans of the scene.

You’ve probably also heard about the transport crisis that erupted around the Melbourne event earlier this week. For the Melbourne fans out there still concerned with how they will make their way over to the Melbourne Showgrounds, Tone Deaf has put together a handy transport cheat sheet.
