Today marks the debut of  Melbourne’s Chris Watts’ stunning self-directed video for the new single ‘Broken Bones’.

A cut off Watt’s  debut album Back Down, the video is a mix of film and stop-start animation made entirely in After Effects animation and was created completely by Chris himself over a period of six long months.

Watts explains the ethos behind the film as a representation of a growing number of artists who may have limited funds, and syndicating a shift in the music industry. Self-managed artists must be resourceful and utilize their related talents to create an original concept in order to separate themselves from the huge number of artists who have access to high budgets.
