This week has been massive for Aussie festivals revealing their set times, with the likes of Bluesfest and Soundwave each dropping their playing schedules, and today Golden Plains have also provided theirs, which can you see in full below.

Saturday will see punkers The Meanies kickstart the festivities with their high octane live show, followed by a star-studded list including Twerps, whilst ’90s low-fi king Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks charm with their latest record, Sharon Van Etten will melt hearts with her beautiful tunes.

Once the sun has set, Aussie legends Radio Birdman will power through their set, followed by Courtney Barnett who will be warming the stage for DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist.

Wake up on Sunday with the beautiful sounds of Kiwi folk extraordinaire Aldous Harding before Bannoffee gets you on your feet with her electro-RnB.

That evening will see a strong focus on guitar-driven music, with Swedish outfit Graveyard pounding the ‘Sup with their take on stoner rock, Something For Kate will dazzle their home audience as Brooklyn-based Parquet Courts turn it up with a rowdy indie/punk show.

Unfortunately, tickets have well and truly sold out for Golden Plains.

For those lucky ticket holders, remember, the festival is BYO (as if you could forget) and that Aunty M enforces a very strict ‘No Dickheads’ rule. Be sure not to bring any glass, native American headdresses and ensure you’ve packed a good attitude and appropriate footware for the ever-important “raise the boot” moment.
