As we’ve said a thousand times before, our west-side brothers and sisters over in Perth produce some of the best psych rock. From everyone’s favourites POND and Tame Impala, to promising upcoming talents Methyl Ethel and SpaceManAntics it’s clear – if you’re chasing Aussie psych, west is best.

Today SpaceManAntics are premiering their brand new video for the track ‘Don’t Be The Last’ the b-side to the band’s ‘Katzenjammer’ 7″.

Just like the band it’s lo-fi but hi-fun – the video was shot by the talented Loser Unit VJ’s, aka Elliot Green and Jacob Kemp, explain the process behind ‘SpaceDadAntics’; “The video is a heartfelt tribute to the intricacy and loving devotion found in father-son relationships. Much research was put into this and travelled far and wide, observing the most fragile and challenged father-son relationships, as well as the most strong and resilient. Our searches bore fruit and we made a major breakthrough. What we convey here on video is an intellectual and realistic representation on a naked, undying love unlike any other.”

If you’re digging what you’re hearing (and seeing) be sure to pop by the band’s Facebook to give ’em a lil’ love.
