Something For Kate are quickly becoming one of the busiest bands in Australia once again. With dates at the eagerly anticipated return of Golden Plains and Twilight at Taronga on the books, the Aussie rock veterans have now announced a special, intimate warm-up show set for this March.

However, for health reasons, bass player Stephanie Ashworth will be forced to sit these three shows out (it’s okay, we’ve been assured she is going to be fine). The good news is that Mr Patrick Bourke (Dallas Crane, Paul Dempsey, Ape) has stepped up to the plate and will be handling all bass duties.

The upcoming shows will also give Something For Kate a chance to introduce their new touring guitarist/keyboardist, The Gin Club’s own Mr Adrian Stoyles. This new (temporary) lineup will be taking over Howler in Brunswick on Wednesday, 4th March for a rare and intimate performance.

Readers can check below for all the details of this special upcoming performance. Tickets are set to hit sale at midday this Wednesday, 25th February. Supporting the homegrown hit-makers will be special guest Will Wagner from local favourites The Smith Street Band.
