Having released their self-titled debut album to widespread acclaim in 2012, San Cisco have finally returned with their new, eagerly anticipated offering, Gracetown. You may have already heard the first single to be taken from the album, ‘Too Much Time Together’, on Triple J.

The album takes its title from the famously laid back coastal town in South Western Australia and sees San Cisco exploring a more worldly approach to life, exploring the tyranny of love, displacement, homesickness, heartache, and heartbreak, weaving their sound through disco, funk, soul, and hip-hop undertones.

However, despite a new approach on the sophomore effort, Josh, Scarlett, Jordi, and Nick haven’t lost any of their trademark catchiness and lyrical wit, along with their cleverly crafted storytelling, which itself displays newfound sophistication and maturity in the band.

To celebrate the release of Gracetown, the band will soon be hitting the road for an extensive string of tour dates, including a raft of appearances at the highly anticipated return of Groovin the Moo, Australia’s premier rural touring festival, which is set to kick off this April.
