Last year, Tone Deaf reported on the incredible story of Marcus Haney, the music fanatic who allegedly snuck into nearly 50 major music festivals over the last four years, documenting his clandestine (and unlawful) entry into the events and the subsequent festivities and band interactions he enjoyed.

However, while Haney’s story depicts what it’s like for someone who is, let’s say, “successful” at sneaking his way into music festivals, it’s important to remember that not all attempts are met with feature-length documentaries made about your epic, On The Road-like travels and the ensuing hipster adoration.

In fact, as the video below will show, sometimes things are a freaking disaster. Just ask the poor souls featured in the vid, which depicts a group who attempted to storm the gates of the US-based Hard Summer festival en masse last year. It’s as funny as it is embarrassing.

Before you check out the clip, it’s at this point in the article that Tone Deaf wishes to remind our faithful readers that we do not condone the act of sneaking into festivals. It is illegal and often dangerous and takes money out of an already struggling Aussie music industry. Just buy a damn ticket!
