Tkay Maidza has spent the last 12 months kicking goals, with a steady stream of well-received singles, and it doesn’t look she has any intention of stopping soon. To celebrate the release of her latest whip-cracking single, Maidza has announced a highly anticipated national tour, which will see the young word-slinging talent take on venues in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.

Following the success of recent radio hits ‘Red & Blue’ and ‘When A Man’s A Fool’, Harts has now unveiled his latest blistering effort, ‘Breakthrough’. The new single comes off the back of a highly acclaimed Australian tour, which saw Harts selling out small venues across the country with his unique, high energy blend of funk and bluesy rock music, which has seen the young talent compared to the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Prince.

Bootleg Rascal will be heading out on tour in pure B-Raz style to support their latest single. The boys have been kicking goals with their current single, ‘Oh I Know’, which has seen some heavy rotation on Triple J these last 2 months. B-Raz also recently sold out their first Newtown Social Club gig, which saw them hypnotising a hot and sweaty room full of people. They’re planning on repeating the feat around the country this month.

Tired Lion

The past 12 months have seen non-stop action and accolades for Perth’s Tired Lion. They’ve showcased at Singapore’s prestigious Music Matters Live, wowed crowds at the 2014 WAMI Awards, toured nationally for their debut EP, All We Didn’t Know, supported the likes of Gyroscope, The 1975, Kingswood, Luca Brasi, and Velociraptor, and been nominated for ‘the most popular live act’ at the 2014 WAM Awards. Slow Turismo + Tully On Tully

Canberra indie pop favourites Slow Turismo aren’t wasting any time. They’re hitting the ground running in 2015 with the announcement of a brand new single and East Coast tour. The band’s new single, ‘Corners’, was recorded at Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne with Aaron Dobos and sees the band tackling a bigger, heavier sound than their previous singles, ‘Breathe’ and ‘Thunderstorm’. Their eagerly anticipated East Coast tour will kick off at The Retreat Hotel in Melbourne this March, concluding at The Bearded Lady in Brisbane on Sunday, 18th April.

Pretty Littles

The Pretty Littles have been hard at work over the last six months, slowly piecing together a new, eagerly anticipated release. The result is titled Gospel and comprises six tracks, which the band have assured fans, covers “all the important issues you definitely care about”. The group adds, “There is no doubting you will relate to each and every song as it takes you on an introspective journey akin to Darkside Of The Moon, the seminal album from Oasis.”

Luca Brasi

Tasmania’s premier sultans of the Shoey, Luca Brasi, are slated to release their new Loose Threads 7” via Poison City Records on 13th March to celebrate their forthcoming Australian headlining tour. This very special release contains three songs originally recorded for the By A Thread album and an acoustic reworking of the band’s acclaimed ‘Borders and Statelines’ single, featuring guest vocals from Craig Selak of Melbourne favourites The Bennies. The highly anticipated new tour is slated to launch at the Small Ballroom in Newcastle on Wednesday, 11th March.
