One of Australia’s favourite boutique festivals Mountain Sounds returned for its second year of music and arts bliss on New South Wales’ Central Coast last weekend.

The festival, headed by the likes of Alison Wonderland, D.D Dumbo, Tkay Maidza charmed punters in the pristine Mount Penang Parklands whilst pertaining to their ever-important environmentally sustainable initiative, cementing Mountain Sounds as one of the most exciting and responsible music festivals in Australia right now.

We had a chat with a few of the performing acts who gave us a unique “behind the scenes” glimpse at what it’s like to perform at Mountain Sounds, with DZ Deathrays, Northeast Party House, The Kite String Tangle, East, Millions, and Pepa Knight each detailing their personal highs and lows of the musical extravaganza.
