Perth’s post punk influenced, scuzzed out garage four piece Rag nBone are on the eve of releasing their killer band new debut EP A Woman Under The Influence.

Named after and for the emotionally gruesome onslaught of John Cassavetes’ film, ‘A Woman Under the Influence’, the EP is a document of the maelstrom of existence, of anguish masquerading as triumph, and an advertisement for the positive use of magnetic tape.

The band spent one week in the Fremantle home and Studio of Rob Grant (Poons Head Studio) tracking the EP live to tape, the result of which was the vast and brutal five song EP you’re hearing now.  Set for release on twelve inch Vinyl, the record is a testament to the band’s quest to uncover all that is bare and naked in truth.

Featuring photography by Amber Bateup and design by Alanna Kusin, A Woman Under the Influence is a statement of intent and force from one of this country’s most exciting post-punk bands. To celebrate the release of the EP, the band will be playing two shows in March, for more info visit www.ragnboneband.com.
