Melbourne singer-songwriter Ben Wright Smith has unveiled his latest single ‘No One’, which recently got added to rotation on Triple J, where it’s sure to garner plenty of new fans for the young Victorian native. The track sees Smith once again proving why he’s one of the country’s most exciting songwriters.

Most recently, Smith has been busying himself in recording studios, travelling between Melbourne and Nashville, feverishly writing and recording, and the results have been truly remarkable, culminating in ‘No One’, recorded at The Aviary in Melbourne and co-produced by Ben and Oscar Dawson (HOLY HOLY, Ali Barter).

The shimmering track is marked by an uplifting melody and the lush production and multi-tracked vocals manage to skilfully weave together shades of Simon & Garfunkel, Tom Petty, and The Byrds, with Smith’s own flair for deftly crafted melody and thoughtful, personal lyrics.
