Melbourne grunge rockers Telescopes are today premiering their brand new record EP 001 set for release this March 17th. Recorded in the Victorian bush in 2014 and produced by Blum, EP 001 is Telescopes’ first offering.

Heavily influenced by 90’s luminaries Pavement and Sonic Youth, the five track EP presents a sound that is immediately captivating, balancing a raw honesty with unsettling, abrasive and discordant instrumentation. With Blum having cut his teeth as a writer/producer over the last five years, the songs have a distinctly colossal sound, augmented by mix engineer and long time collaborator Russell Fawcus.
