Hobart’s very own Tiger Choir have just today dropped their brand new single ‘Shani’ and it’s nothing short of a glistening indie pop gem of a track.

A teaser of what’s to come from the band, ‘Shani’ is the lead single off their upcoming LP which was recorded in Hobart before being mixed by Melbourne legend Simon Lam (I’lls, Klo) and mastered by one of our faves Andrei Eremin (Chet Faker, Oscar Key Sung, Hiatus Kaiyote).

Since forming in 2009, the eclectic pop group have dropped a self-titled EP, followed by the stunning LP Unicycles.

With a wealth of experience under their collective belts, they’ve performed  Falls Festival, Camp a Low Hum and Panama Festival, as well as sharing the stage with the likes of Deerhunter, The Drums, Holy Fuck! and Regurgitator, their upcoming LP promises to be “darker than previous material” but before they release it they’ll be hitting the road in support of ‘Sharni’, details below.
