Jimmy Kimmel has got to be the world’s favourite troll.

From his talk show segment where celebrities read mean Tweets about themselves (which includes multiple Aussie musicians) to the ultimate lie-detector game of fooling festival punters into talking about band’s that don’t exist, Kimmel has cemented himself ultimate trickster, and to co-incide with the beginning of the annual music conference South By Southwest (SXSW), Kimmel’s crew hit the streets of Austin, Texas, for yet another hilarious edition of Lie Witness News, as Billboard point out.

Kimmel’s team manage to not only fool, but convince festival-goers that they’ve seen mysterious band “Ashley & The Kale Chips” live – one person going as far as to admit that she caught quinoa that was thrown into the crowd by the non-existent musicians.

Another poor sucker is so certain that she saw the act “Vlad & The Putins” ride into a concert on a horse, the same lass also claiming that she’d caught a (fake) DJ from France play whilst she lived in Lyon – bless.

We swear, this one has got to be the most skin-crawlingly cringe-worthy Lie Witness News yet, but enough from us, check out the hilarious vid below:
