Calling all Aussie musicians who are on the hunt for the perfect director for your next music video – your prayers have been answered.

Triple J Unearthed in tandem with NIDA (Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art) are once again hosting their competition that will see six unsigned Aussie acts have a music video made for free at the hands of the revered Sydney school’s best Directing, Design and Production students, as Triple J report.

Not only that, but the six videos will be featured on the special program held Australia’s favourite music program, rage, giving both Aussie musicians as well as the hard-working film school artists the ultimate national exposure.

If you’re keen to have your music captured on film by some of Australia’s best rising production talent as well as being broadcast on national TV, waste no time and jump over to Triple J Unearthed NIDA Competition page and apply – expressions of interest close April 5th.

Should you be selected as one of the six lucky winners that’ll have your music immortalised on camera, you must be available to be in Sydney for two days between July 20th – August 2nd.

This is yet another killer initiative by the guys at Triple J to foster up-and-coming talent, they are currently running a competition for unsigned acts to score a performing position at each leg of the travelling regional music festival, Groovin The Moo.

Not that any musician would need any further motivation to let the crafty hands of NIDA students visually capture their song, but check out the previous winners in Coin Banks and Julia Why?below:
