Want to start your week with a story that’ll warm your heart? Meet Hsa Hae, or as the internet knows him – Star Boy.

Hae is the latest sensation to take over the intergalactic highway, having well and truly gone viral with his unique music videos, as Fairfax media reports.

Just over two years ago, Hae and his family were living in a refugee camp on the Thai-Myanmar border where he wrote music, before arriving in Australia through the refugee program and settling in Melbourne’s outer-west suburb of Werribee.

Star Boy said he’s always wanted to be a musician, and penned songs throughout his life in refugee camps, singing about patriotism, girls and the everyone’s favourite topic, love all in his native tongue – Sgaw Karen.

After arriving in Australia the youngster begun uploading his music online, and since has became a huge name and a shining beacon of happiness for others who have been in the same difficult situation as Hae’s family. Many refugees have noted of their hardship in settling into a foreign country and how Hae’s music has removed their feelings of isolation and depression.

Star Boy is yet to make any bank from his music, however he will perform his first real live gig with another well-known Karen singer, Danny, who is actually flying to Australia from the US to perform with the 22-year old in Werribee.

Check out Star Boy’s videos below and keep your eye out for the positive youngster, he may just be the “next big thing”.
