We can’t believe that summer has already been gone away for a month, and with its departure it too takes the majority of our music festivals – there is however, a bright shining light that pulls punters through the darker, cold months, Splendour In The Grass, which looks to have had another performing artist revealed.

The musical extravaganza held at the beautiful North Byron Parklands from Friday 24 – Sunday 26th July has already seen a two acts pretty much confirmed, not to mention a heated rumour mill of additional artists, and another to pin down is Danish electronic act, MØ.

The more than likely Splendour 2015 performer took to her official Facebook today, detailing how stoked she was that her newest track with Major Lazor and DJ Snake  ‘Lean On’ hit #1 in Australia, going on to write “Thanks guys, can’t wait to play for you in July.” As no solo Australian tour for the songstress has been detailed as of yet and a sizeable chunk missing in her touring schedule in late July, it looks like MØ will be setting the amphitheatre alight.

OMG ‘Lean On’ is now #1 in Australia !!! Thanks guys, can’t wait to play for you in July <3 Major Lazer DJ SNAKE

With all the talk of who is and could be playing at the North Byron Parklands, there are some names that we unfortunately will not be seeing at Byron Bay this July. You can count out Kendrick Lamar, alt-j, Modest Mouse, Passion Pit, St. Vincent, Girl Talk, Run The Jewels, and Odesza, just to name a few. All of these names will be busy playing WayHome Festival in Canada.
