Friday of last week saw a potential leak of Splendour in the Grass 2015’s lineup (which looks damn good) sending live music fans of Australia crazy for the winter festival – however, there looks to be another outing in the colder months that could be an amazing alternative.

Introducing the super secretive Camp Unknown, a music festival coming to an undisclosed location “90kms from Sydney” from 24 – 26 July this year, as inthemix reports.

The mysterious and new music festival is not giving too much away on the official website, the details make it read more like a school camp with activities such as abseiling, archery and canoeing all included in the ticket price as well as the very unique edge of heated 8-bedded cabins with communal showers and toilets, prices starting at around $275.00 per person.

Organisers have noted that there will be a Christmas In July themed feast and that all punters need is “to bring is a sleeping bag, pillow, snacks, alcohol, a little trust and a sense of adventure.”

Camp Unknown has described its festival grounds as “a place of intrigue. An adventure wonderland of unparalleled beauty, where you can escape to rest and play. A place where the only limits are your own inhibitions” closing with their ultimate tag “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”

The brand-spankin’ new festival has been organised by the same crew that have thrown parties like The Yacht Social Club, The Big Party, The Harbourlife Yacht Party and The Masquerade, and because of that, we’re certain this is definitely an outing worth considering in the chillier month of July.
