We’ve got brilliant news for music fans of Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs, a beloved club is now bringing live music out to the ‘burbs.

Empire Club of Narre Warren is about to celebrate its first birthday, and as such, are stoked to announce that they’ll now house live performances from bands on a regular basis.

The guys at Empire Club note of why they’re stepping into the world of live music with ‘Empire Live’: “After noticing a need for a premium and world-class live music venue in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, we thought it was time to open the doors to their 850 capacity main room to a broader market and welcome live music onto it’s stage.”

The decision to delve into the live music world came easily after a trial run featuring the legendary Darryl Braithwaite packed the venue to the rafters, and following from the Aussie rocker, Empire Club already has a fantastic lineup of performing artists including busking stars, the Pierce Brothers.

Empire Club’s live music venture, Empire Live, will be launched by the folk duo on Sunday 3 May, supporting the brothers will be local acts Walker and Hunting Season.

This is an excellent new initiative to spread live music right across Melbourne, not just the inner suburbs, we can’t wait to see what Empire Live can bring to Melbourne’s forever-expanding music scene.
